Is Prague a safe city?
Czechs on the whole tend to be a polite and mild mannered people. Of the many major cities in Europe we feel Prague is one of safest. However, there are problems with theft and pick pocket gangs are infamous at the main tourist sights such as the changing of the guard at the castle and on public transport (trams 22 & 23 in particular).
